Hey there! I’m Jessica (Jess) Noble. I fervently stand for many causes. I utilize strong interpersonal skills, mission-driven storytelling, and strategic thinking to incite change and improve efficiency at an entry-level.
Jess Noble is a recent magna cum laude graduate from Skidmore College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management & Business and Music. She has two years of experience completing administrative tasks and two years of experience in strategy and marketing campaign development. Her keen eye for detail allowed her to thrive over the past year as an Administrative Assistant in the Skidmore Management & Business Department, among other roles.
She is interested in strategy and business affairs— she aims to use her constant appetite for problem-solving to improve efficiency, no matter where she goes.
Jess is also strongly interested in learning more about the world of music law and publishing.
Jess is intrinsically motivated by unity through music: coordinating efforts and strengthening communication in the industry is important to her.
Strategic analysis is a strength of hers
Jess approaches everything she does with a strategic and research-backed mindset, with her natural creativity always permeating the mix as well. As a faculty-nominated Business Strategy Consultant for the Skidmore-Saratoga Consulting Partnership, she collaborated with other student consultants analyzing markets, profitability, competitive landscapes, pyramid principles, and more. She even personally set up and finalized a strategic partnership between her client and the renowned music venue Caffè Lena, the longest continuously-running coffeehouse in the country. She’s a dependable individual who can be trusted with clients and is proven to develop innovative strategies and ideas.
As a Musical Event Planner and Vice President of Lively Lucy’s Coffeehouse at Skidmore College, Jess co-led strategy development for 28 community live music events, such as themed concerts, open mics, and college-wide music festivals. She also negotiated and reviewed performance contracts with artists. Building community by improving efficiency and organizing logistics behind the scenes invigorates her—it’s that type of rewarding experience that makes her jump out of bed in the morning.
Jess also has experience with activations, having aided in budget preparation and created pop-up events and cross-club collaborations. She always arrived half an hour early to set up events and would not leave until the final XLR cable was coiled and put away. Jess is a dedicated, hard worker, eager to put in the extra hours to learn new systems and proofread every line.
She’s an innate communicator, through and through. As a Tour Guide and Ambassador for Skidmore College, Jess was able to eloquently and succinctly convey her personal experiences and perspective to tour groups of 50 people. Multiple students even reached out to her directly to mention that her tour and her words were the reason they had applied Early Decision (binding) to the college. Jess can initiate a conversation with anyone, and she’ll always manage to find common ground.
